The Shaykh :" We also believe that with Him are the keys of the unseen " I " that He
And with Him are the keys of the unseen
[Al-An'am 6:59]
"
As it is with you, it does not have a waw, correct? " And we believe that He
And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record.
[Al-An'am 6:59]
The keys
is the plural of miftah or miftah, and what is meant by them is either the key that opens, by which doors are opened, or the place that opens, meaning the repositories of knowledge. And His saying
none knows them except Him
[Al-An'am 6:59]
Yes. And His saying
the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him
[Al-An'am 6:59]
the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explained it by the noble verse
Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour
[Luqman 31:34]
as will come, if Allah wills, later on
And He knows what is on the land and in the sea
[Al-An'am 6:59]
and the sky
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Where is it from?
The student: From the land and the sea.

The Shaykh : From the land and the sea. So what is thrown into the sea is from the sea, and what is thrown onto the land is from the land. And not a leaf falls but He knows it.
Who من
This is extra, but it is extra grammatically; as for the meaning, rather, it is for emphasis, meaning that not a leaf falls but He knows it, whatever the leaf may be, in whatever place, whether small or large, whether living or dry. And if He knows what falls from the leaves, then it is all the more so that He knows what is newly created from the leaves.
