What is the meaning of your statement: "We remain silent regarding what the Lawgiver has remained silent about"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah bless you, our elaboration concerns the attributes that have not been mentioned.

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : The attribute that has not been mentioned in the Book or the Sunnah.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : We said that if it indicates a false meaning, we deny it.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Because of the Book, and if it does not indicate a false meaning, we remain silent.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Is this the meaning of our statement: "As for the wording that is not established, we deny the wording and we elaborate on the meaning"?

The Shaykh : No, no, this is different. Sometimes the wording itself is rejected; even the wording is rejected. For example, a phrase is used to describe Allah that is not befitting His Majesty, neither in wording nor in elaboration, so we reject it.
The student: The time has ended, the time has ended, O Shaykh.
The reader: And peace.

The Shaykh : May Allah send blessings and peace upon him.
The reader: "It is truth, and none of it contradicts any other, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction. أفلا يتدبرون القرءان ولو كان من عند غير الله لوجدوا فيه اختلافا كثيرا
[An-Nisa 4:82]
And because contradiction in reports necessitates the falsification of some of them by others, and this is impossible in the report of Allah the Exalted and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
And whoever claims that there is contradiction in the Book of Allah the Exalted or in the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) or between them, that is due to the badness of his intention and the deviation of his heart, so let him turn to Allah the Exalted and let him remove"
.

The Shaykh : And let him remove.
The reader: "And let him remove his deviation. And whoever suspects contradiction in the Book of Allah the Exalted or in the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) or between them, that is either due to his lack of knowledge, or the deficiency of his understanding, or his negligence in reflection, so let him seek knowledge, and let him strive in reflection until the truth becomes clear to him. If it does not become clear to him, let he entrust the matter to his scholar, and let him refrain from his suspicion, and let him say as the firmly grounded in knowledge say:
We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord. آمنا به كل من عند ربنا
[Ali 'Imran 3:7]
And let him know that there is no contradiction in the Book and the Sunnah, nor between them, nor any difference"
