What is the ruling on building mosques in houses?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah. The Sunnah explains some of itself. Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he ordered the building of mosques in the dwellings, have every one of the Companions build a room in his house? No, never. The Companions are more knowledgeable than we are about the intent of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). The term "dwellings" means the neighborhoods. Yes?
