In the hadith: (The fitnahs will increase). Does this imply that participating in wars is not prescribed?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Regarding the second condition, Shaykh, it is possible that it indicates the prevalence of fitnahs. Does this imply that it is not prescribed for a person to participate in wars?

The Shaykh : No, no, these are fitnahs, not wars. Jihad, jihad in the cause of Allah, is not a fitnah; it is good. These are the fitnahs we hear about now. What are they? We hear that someone has left the group and people have killed him, or they have set up an ambush, or something similar. The killer does not know why he killed this man, and the one who was killed does not know what his sin was. These are among the fitnahs. For this reason, we always warn against any speech that causes confusion among people and incites them, lest a fitnah occur. The beginning of war is a spark, as it is said... words... then it grows and increases until a person remains blind, may Allah protect us, not knowing what he did.
