The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “The Most High in degrees, the Owner of the Throne, who casts the spirit by His command upon whom He wills of His servants, to warn of the Day of Meeting.”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Then he said:
The Possessor of the high degrees رفيع الدرجات
to the end of it. Among the benefits of this verse is the affirmation of the exaltedness of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), contrary to the author of the tafsir, due to his saying:
The Possessor of the high degrees رفيع الدرجات
We mean by exaltedness the exaltedness of the Essence, as for the exaltedness of the attributes, the author acknowledged it by his saying: “meaning the Magnificent in attributes” So in this verse is the affirmation of the exaltedness of the Essence, the Essence of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), due to His saying:
The Possessor of the high degrees رفيع الدرجات
.
And this has passed before us many times, and we clarified that all five proofs indicate the exaltedness of Allah: the Book, the Sunnah, the consensus of the Salaf, reason, and fitrah. Good.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the virtue of the Throne, due to His saying:
the Owner of the Throne ذو العرش
So the exclusive attribution of the Throne to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is undoubtedly a great virtue.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the affirmation of the Throne, due to His saying:
the Owner of the Throne ذو العرش
.
And among its benefits is the affirmation of the greatness of Allah, because the Throne is exclusive to kingship and dominion; it is not said of a man sitting on a chair that he is on a Throne, but it is said of the king and ruler sitting on the magnificent, great chair that he is the owner of a Throne.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the affirmation of the favor of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) upon whom He wills with revelation, due to His saying:
He places the inspiration of His command upon whom He wills of His servants يلقي الروح من أمره على من يشاء من عباده
[Ghafir 40:15]
.
And among its benefits is that revelation is a spirit by which hearts live, due to His saying:
He places the inspiration of His command يلقي الروح من أمره
[Ghafir 40:15]
.
And among its benefits is the affirmation of speech, due to His saying:
from his matter من أمره
And Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) speaks and talks whenever He wills, with what He wills, however He wills. We do not restrict our Lord (Glorified and Exalted is He) in speech, neither in time nor in manner, but rather He has the right to speak with what He wills, whenever He wills, however He wills.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the affirmation of will, due to His saying:
upon whom He wills على من يشاء
.
And among its benefits is that the rank of prophethood is not attained by earning or strength, as al-Safarini said in the creed, but rather it is a favor from Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) upon whom He wills of His servants.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is that the scholars have a share and portion of the spirit that Allah the Exalted casts upon the messengers, because they are the heirs of the prophets, so they have a share and portion of this spirit that Allah casts upon whom He wills, but their share is of this guidance, the guidance of indication and explanation, and then they may have a share of the guidance of success, or they may not, because the scholar may act upon his knowledge, in which case he has a share of both guidances, the guidance of direction and the guidance of success, or he may not act upon his knowledge, in which case he has a share of the guidance of knowledge and direction, but it becomes a burden upon him where he contradicted while knowing the truth, and this is more severe than one who contradicted without knowing the truth.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is that the revelation which Allah the Exalted sends down upon whom He sends it of His servants, the wisdom behind it is warning people of the Day of Resurrection
to warn of the Day of Meeting. لينذر يوم التلاق
[Ghafir 40:15]
.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the affirmation of wisdom for Allah, and that His actions are accompanied by wisdom.
