In His saying, the Exalted: “I have more wealth and children than you,” should one say: “Allah the Exalted said, narrating,” or should one say: “Allah the Exalted said”?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: Some verses in which Allah, Mighty and Majestic, narrates about a person, such as His saying, the Exalted:
I am greater than you in wealth and mightier in [numbers of] men." أنا أكثر منك مالا وولدا
[Al-Kahf 18:34]
Should a person say: “Allah the Exalted said, narrating about a man,” or should he say: “Allah the Exalted said”?

The Shaykh : It is better to say “narrating,” because [saying only “said”] may imply that the pronoun refers to Allah.
