Is it permissible for a disbeliever to marry a believing woman, given that the wife of Pharaoh was a believer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: If the husband is a disbeliever and the wife is a Muslim... Pharaoh and his wife?

The Shaykh : It is not permissible. This objection is valid. He asks: Is it permissible for a disbeliever to marry a believing woman?
We say: No. So he raised an objection with us, which is that the wife of Pharaoh was a believer, without doubt, and he was the most disbelieving of disbelievers.
The answer is: That was the legislation of those before us, but in our legislation, it is not. You know the rule in the principles of jurisprudence: "The legislation of those before us is legislation for us, unless our legislation comes with a contrary ruling". This is one aspect. From another aspect, it may be said that Pharaoh forced her to do so, and that she did not love it. For this reason, she said:
My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people." رب ابن لي عندك بيت في الجنة ونجني من فرعون وعمله ونجني من القوم الظالمين
[At-Tahrim 66:11]
But he is an oppressor and does not care.
