How to reconcile the statement of Allah the Exalted: “And if an evil suggestion from Satan comes to you, then seek refuge in Allah” with His statement:

The Shaykh : Authority, as you know, is the one who takes charge of a matter with his power and prevails. So Satan may make suggestions even to the righteous servants of Allah, but he has no authority over them. Did not a Satan try to corrupt the prayer of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), but he had no authority over him? Authority is one who says and does as he pleases, as Ibn al-Wardi said in his poem:
Keep away from the authority and beware of his wrath; do not dispute with one who, when he speaks, acts.
So the meaning of
no authority will you have over them ليس لك عليهم سلطان
[Al-Hijr 15:42]
is that you cannot dominate them and mislead them. Yes.
