The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “Indeed, those who transgress against Our verses will not escape Us. So is one who is thrown into the Fire better, or one who comes safe on the Day of Resurrection? Do what you will; indeed, He is Seeing of what you do.”

This verse contains several benefits:
First: The prohibition of transgressing against the verses of Allah. The evidence for this is that Allah the Exalted threatened those who transgress against His verses.
Second: The establishment of the verses and their classification. From our perspective, this is based on observation and induction. Do you understand? I mean, establishing that Allah has cosmic and legislative verses. The verse itself does not state this, but through observation and induction, we know that the verses of Allah are divided into two categories: legislative and cosmic.
And among the benefits of this noble verse is the threat to the transgressors that Allah is aware of them, and nothing of their conditions is hidden from Him.
And among its benefits is the vastness of the knowledge of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), and that nothing is hidden from Him.
And among its benefits is that transgression is a cause for entering the Fire, as He said:
So is one who is thrown into the Fire أفمن يلقى في النار
Like whom? Like the transgressors.
And among the benefits of this noble verse is that the people of the Fire—seeking refuge in Allah—are thrown into it with a throwing and driven into it with a driving, as a humiliation and subjugation for them, as He said:
So is one who is thrown into the Fire أفمن يُلقَى في النار
.
And among the benefits of this noble verse is the permissibility of comparing two things where the difference between them is greater than the distance between the sky and the earth, in order to silence the opponent. Are you with us? The evidence is:
So, is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? أفمن يلقى في النار خير أمن يأتي آمنا يوم القيامة
[Fussilat 41:40]
Everyone knows that the second is better and that there is no need for the question, but this is for the purpose of silencing the opponent and establishing the argument against him. A similar case is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Is Allah better or what they associate with Him?" آلله خير أما يشركون
[An-Naml 27:59]
Everyone knows that Allah is better, but this is from the category of silencing the opponent. And from this is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Say, "Are you more knowing or is Allah?" قل ءأنتم أعلم أم الله
[Al-Baqarah 2:140]
Everyone knows that the most knowledgeable is Allah, but this is also from the category of silencing the opponent. And this is a benefit, so pay attention to it: when comparing two things where the disparity between them is apparent, the intention is not comparison, but rather silencing the opponent.
Now, among the benefits of this noble verse is that whoever is upright in the verses of Allah and does not transgress against them will come on the Day of Resurrection safe, as He said:
he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection أمَّن يأتي آمنا يوم القيامة
[Fussilat 41:40]
in contrast to the transgressors who are thrown into the Fire.
And among the benefits of this noble verse is the greatness of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and the strength of His dominion, as He said:
Do whatever you will اعملوا ما شئتم
[Fussilat 41:40]
For such a threat can only come from one who has complete dominion.
And among the benefits of the verse is the establishment of the Day of Resurrection, as He said:
on the Day of Resurrection يوم القيامة
.
And among them is also that people on the Day of Resurrection are between those who are safe and those who are fearful, as He said:
he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection أمن يأتي آمنا يوم القيامة
[Fussilat 41:40]
.
