Continuation: How do we respond to those who say that the apparent meaning of the verses of attributes necessitates likening Allah to creation?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Say:
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us ربنا لا تزغ قلوبنا بعد إذ هديتنا
[Ali 'Imran 3:8]
That is enough. If the heart deviates—may Allah protect us from that—truth becomes falsehood in his eyes, and falsehood becomes truth. Otherwise, how can we say it necessitates likening Allah to creation? If I told you that I saw an elephant, would you imagine that the elephant is like a human being? I do not imagine that. If I have seen the elephant, I know the difference. And if I have not seen it, I still know that there is a difference between them, because if there were no difference, the elephant would be a human being. Do not be surprised; a human being, may Allah protect us from that, if Allah seals his heart, sees truth as falsehood and falsehood as truth. Now, the greatest speech is the speech of the Lord, Mighty and Majestic. And Allah the Exalted said:
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples." إذا تتلى عليه آياتنا قال أساطير الأولين
[Al-Qalam 68:15]
Nonsense for which no meaning can be conceived that necessitates faith. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said:
No! كلا
Meaning it is not the legends of the former people:
Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.بل ران على قلوبهم ما كانوا يكسبون
[Al-Mutaffifin 83:14]
