Is the consensus of the Companions that the intended meaning of the texts of the attributes is their apparent meaning a weapon for the people of likening Allah to creation?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : If someone were to say: This principle is feared to be a weapon for the people of likening Allah to creation, such that the apparent meaning of the text is so-and-so? The answer is from two angles:
The first angle: It is not possible for the apparent meaning of what Allah informed about Himself to be likening Allah to creation. This is not possible because Allah attributed these attributes to whom? To Himself. So the attribute must be befitting the one it is attributed to. Clear, clear, O people. So the apparent meaning of the texts is not likening Allah to creation, without a doubt. Because Allah did not mention an absolute attribute such that we would say the absolute includes all its individuals by way of substitution. Rather, He mentioned an attribute attributed to Himself, so it must be in accordance with the one to whom it is attributed.
Second: Even if we were to assume the impossible that this is the apparent meaning, this apparent meaning is averted by what is a clear text in His saying:
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing. ليس كمثله شيء وهو السميع البصير
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
And with this, the claim of the people of likening Allah to creation and the claim of the people of denial of the divine attributes are refuted, and praise be to Allah.
