The ruling on praying in the mosque on one floor while the imam is on another floor

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: We have a mosque consisting of two floors; the upper floor is for men and the lower floor is for women. The women pray in congregation with the men, with the women on the lower floor and the men on the upper floor. The women cannot see the imam, nor even the rows of men, but they can hear the takbir through the microphone. What is the ruling on prayer in this case?

A: As long as the situation is as described, the prayer of everyone is valid because they are all in the mosque, and following the imam is possible due to hearing the imam’s voice through the amplifier. This is the most correct of the scholars’ opinions.
The disagreement that is of importance is if some of the ma'mum (those praying behind the imam) are outside the mosque and do not see the imam or the other ma'mum. And success is from Allah.
