Loyalty between the two prayers when combining them

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: The loyalty between the two prayers, as they may delay for a period that is considered a separation between the two prayers and then combine them. What is the ruling in that?

A: In the case of combining by advancing, it is obligatory to maintain loyalty between the two prayers, and there is no harm in a slight separation according to custom, based on what is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding that. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
offer your prayers in the way you saw me offering my prayersصلوا كما رأيتموني أصلي
Sahih al-Bukhari 6008
The correct view is that intention is not a condition, as mentioned in the answer to the previous question. As for combining by delaying, the matter is broad in that; because the second prayer is performed in its proper time. However, the best is to maintain loyalty between them, following the example of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in that. And success is from Allah.
