The supplication recited in the prayer for a child

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: What is the supplication recited when praying for a child?

A: The prayer for a child is the same as the prayer for an adult, but when making the supplication, one says: “O Allah, make him a store of good for his parents, a leader and an intercessor whose intercession is accepted. O Allah, increase their reward through him, and make his deeds weigh heavily in their scales. Attach him to the righteous predecessors of the believers, and place him under the care of Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and protect him, by Your mercy, from the punishment of the blazing Fire.” This is because it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Prayer should be offered over an abortion and forgiveness and mercy supplicated for its parentsالطفل يصلى عليه ويدعى لوالديه
