The questioner: O Shaykh, regarding the discussion of the Saruriyyah in the Emirates, first of all, I mention it, and there are witnesses to this matter, the existence of a pledge of allegiance among the committed ones there, whom we consider to be Salafis, a pledge of allegiance to the emirate, O our Shaykh. There is a student of knowledge, this is the first thing, they pledged allegiance to him regarding the emirate. Then another thing, O Shaykh, the tapes that spoke about the sects or about the Saruriyyah are dubbed here. So when they are released to the youth so that they listen to them, your words support these people. We are confused between, meaning, between following these people or between the truth. What is the truth? We do not know?

The Shaykh: Okay, you are saying now that my words support these people. Do you have an example?

The questioner: By Allah, O Shaykh, I do not have a tape, actually, I forgot it. I was in the country I came from, in Abu Dhabi. The tape is called here "A Meeting ... with the Shaykh." This man from the Emirates came here and did a meeting with you. The tape that he recorded, when it reached the Emirates, was dubbed. Questions were erased from it, and it is clear in the tape that questions were erased. You mentioned just now, and just now, you pointed to a previous question that is not there. So the tape was dubbed. This is one of the proofs that the tapes are dubbed. Then it was named with another name, "A Word of Truth in Salman and a Journey with the Shaykh."
Shuqara : There is one there who has their devices set up so that any tape that comes to the Shaykh is dubbed, so it comes out in a form that agrees with their words.

The questioner: They take what they want.
Shuqara : And they did the same with the Shaykh Mubarak.

The questioner: Yes, there is a treatise.

The Shaykh: ... himself. Okay, O brothers, what is the relation of this to my question? I mean, what do you want from me?

The questioner: O Shaykh, I want, meaning, if there is a tape that is decisive in this matter, that it comes to us, meaning, that it comes to us without dubbing, because there is nothing [wrong with it].

The Shaykh: Who owns it without the dubbing that you call it? Who owns it? I assume I am recording a tape now as I testify to Allah by it.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: And you take it and confront the group. Will this tape remain preserved with you, or will others circulate it such that this tape reaches that man who specializes in cutting these tapes? Do you guarantee that?

The questioner: No.

The Shaykh: So, is this a cure?

The questioner: Okay, O our Shaykh, why is there not a treatise ...

The Shaykh: Ah, why is there not a treatise? I say first: I am not free to respond to every person. The example is clear to you here in Amman. How many of these fools are there, and how many are invalidating written and printed texts? So I am not free to respond to every invalidator, and this is a matter that has no end at all. This is the answer to your saying, "Why is there not a treatise?" And may Allah reward you, I ask you to make your view deeper than this. Why? Because there are many like this. Every time one hates us, he responds to us. Why do we not respond to him with a treatise? So we would suspend our service to the Sunnah and occupy ourselves with responding to these invalidators. This has no end.

The questioner: I, O our Shaykh, say with your words. When I ask, I say the Shaykh is not, meaning, free to respond to these people. But these are our brothers, meaning, the Salafis there, such that now the Salafi groups in the Emirates, which the old Salafi callers in the Emirates labored over, are all now turning to the Saruriyyah. So this is the only issue. I say, if it were leaflets.

The Shaykh: I am asking you now, is this only in the Emirates? Also in Saudi Arabia? Also in Algeria? Perhaps the circle will widen, O my brother. "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear," as was said in the old poetry: "If you cannot do something, leave it *** And pass over to what you can do." Ask us for what we can do. "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear." As for me being a guardian over those who cut our words. When I wrote this treatise, "Guidance for the Near and the Far to the Fiqh of al-Albani," I did not read this treatise. Did I read it?

The questioner: O our Shaykh, it is just an index.

The Shaykh: Just an index. But yes, perhaps this person pretends to be a Salafi, like this, meaning, the title indicates this, but the reality is not sufficient to show that he is a Salafi.

The questioner: He, O our Shaykh, this is what is happening. They pretend to be Salafis and make people feel that they love the Shaykh al-Albani and respect him, and so on. But in reality, they have invalidated the Shaykh al-Albani, the fatwas of the Shaykh al-Albani, and they turn the youth away from the fatwas of the Shaykh al-Albani. Even the original and well-known fatwas of the Shaykh al-Albani, they blind the youth to them. From this aspect, we say, do they pretend to be Salafis?

The Shaykh: Okay, O Shaykh, what is the action? What are we supposed to do? We cannot do anything. We said regarding this problem, the words of the Lord of the Worlds, the words of the Lord of the Worlds to which falsehood does not come from before or behind, are contested not only by the seventy-two deviant Islamic sects, but even the Jews and the Christians have cited some verses from the Noble Qur'an to support their misguidance. This is the word of the Lord of the Worlds. What is left of the words of al-Albani if they do not cut from them? If one cuts from His saying - Exalted is He - :
So woe to those who pray فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ
He did not complete the verse. What do we do for him? This has no cure except the Muslim ruler, and this is what we complain of its absence, with great regret. We want now to hear from you, is there a cure? You mentioned the cure, writing a treatise. We cannot write.

The questioner: O our Shaykh ... the cure.

The Shaykh: The cure for us is nothing but seeking refuge in Allah - Mighty and Majestic - that He rectify the affairs of the Muslims, purify their hearts, and unite them on a just word.
Al-Halabi: O our Shaykh, if ... May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh: Go ahead.
