Ruling on uncovering the face of the deceased when placed in the grave

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: Is the face of the deceased uncovered after being placed in the grave?

A: It is not uncovered; rather, the entire body is covered, except for the one in ihram, whose face and head are uncovered. This is based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was asked about a person in ihram who died on the Day of 'Arafah:
Bathe him with water mixed (with the leaves of) lote tree and shroud him In his two (pieces of) cloth and cover neither his head nor his face, for he would be raised on the Day of Resurrection pronouncing Talbiya.اغسلوه بماء وسدر وكفنوه في ثوبيه ولا تخمروا رأسه ولا وجهه فإنه يبعث يوم القيامة ملبيًا
Sahih Muslim 1206f
It is agreed upon as authentic, and the wording is from Muslim.
