The ruling on uncovering the face of the deceased when placing him in the grave

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it permissible to remove the face covering from a deceased person when he is placed in his grave, whether he is a man or a woman?

Answer:
No, nothing is removed from the face of the deceased, neither for a woman nor for a man. When he is placed in the grave, he is left as he is in his shroud, and nothing is removed from his face. Rather, the face is covered, whether it is a man or a woman. There is no basis for what some of the common people say about uncovering the face. However, the knots are untied and left in their place, but the face and nothing else is uncovered.
