Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: From 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Baz to the honorable brother / M. 'A. D., the imam of the Qanbar Mosque in al-Khums, may Allah grant him understanding. Amen.
Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings, and after that:
Your letter dated 1/1/1394 AH has reached me, may Allah guide you, and I understood its content regarding the condolence for the loss of all, the virtuous Shaykh / Muhammad al-Amin al-Shanqiti (may Allah have mercy on him). I ask Allah to answer your supplication, to console everyone for this loss, to shower him with mercy and satisfaction, to rectify his descendants, and to replace him among the Muslims with the best replacement, for He is the Generous, the Bountiful. As for the three questions, here is the answer:
A fasting man bathed, and by the force of the water's pressure, water entered his stomach without his intention. Does he have to make up the fast?
Answer: He does not have to make up the fast; because he did not intend it, he is in the ruling of the one who is coerced and the one who forgets.
