Explanation of the author's statement: "And He is alone with His believing servant, questioning him about his sins, as described in the Book and the Sunnah"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And He is alone with His believing servant, questioning him about his sins"
This is a description of the reckoning of the believer. Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is alone with him, without anyone else being present, and He questions him about his sins. That is, He makes him acknowledge them by saying to him: "You did such and such, and you did such and such, and you did such and such," until he acknowledges and confesses. Then He says to him:
I screened your sins in the world and forgive them for you today. قد سترها عليك في الدنيا، وأنا أغفرها لك اليوم
Sahih al-Bukhari 7514
. And the matter ends. Yes. And despite this, He (Blessed and Exalted is He) covers him with His canopy, meaning His veil, so that no one sees him and no one hears him, because this is from the favor of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) upon man. If a person were questioned about his crimes in front of people, even if he were excused, there would be some of what? Some humiliation. But if he is alone, then that is a covering for him from Him.
He says: "as described in the Book and the Sunnah"
"That" refers to the reckoning, meaning as it is established in the Book and the Sunnah.
