Explanation of the author's statement: "Like what is narrated regarding the nations of old in Surat al-Kahf and others"
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The author (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "And from the nations of old in Surat al-Kahf and others, and from the early generations of this Ummah, namely the Companions and the Tabi'un, and the rest of the sects of the Ummah".
Shaykh al-Islam says: "And we have seen and heard many karamahs (miracles granted to a righteous person) in our time", and karamahs have not ceased to exist. He says: "And they exist therein until the Day of Resurrection". What is the evidence that they exist until the Day of Resurrection? It has not yet occurred. Well, the Day of Resurrection has not come now. We say that the Messenger informed about the story of the Dajjal, meaning there is a long distance between them , as if nothing happened to him , and he is unable to kill him. After that, is this one of the karamahs or not? This is undoubtedly one of the karamahs. And this is the last thing I know. Perhaps there are other things I cannot mention now, but this supports the author's statement in his saying: "That they exist until the Day of Resurrection". It is also said from a rational perspective: as long as the cause of wilayah (close friendship with Allah) remains, and as long as the cause of the karamah is wilayah, then wilayah continues to exist. Until when? Until the Day of Resurrection.
