What am I permitted to see of my foster sister and my blood sister?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What am I permitted to see of my foster sister, and what am I permitted to see of my real sister or full sister?

The Shaykh : As for the answer to the first question: it is the same as your blood sister, which is the second question, so it follows from that. What is permissible for you to see of your blood sister is the parts of her body that are washed in ablution. If she wants to perform ablution in her house and you are looking at her, what do you see of her? Say it now.

The questioner : The face, the two forearms, the hands up to the elbows, the feet, and the hair.

The Shaykh : You shortened it. What about wiping the head? And what else?

The questioner : I did not hear.

The Shaykh : How did you not hear?

The questioner : I did not hear the question.

The Shaykh : You mentioned the face. Why did you not say the head and what it contains? Is that not correct?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : The parts of the body washed in ablution are these: the head and what it contains, the two forearms, a part of the upper arm, the feet, and a part of what is above the shins so that the water covers her feet. Is this answer clear? That is what is explicitly stated in the Noble Qur'an. So what you see of your blood sister, you see of your foster sister, but on the condition that the breastfeeding was five full feedings. Anything else? Later, the one who speaks may be forbidden, and I mean what I am saying: it may be forbidden.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh: Go ahead.
