Reading and commentary on the poet’s seventh simile: The currency of the one who denies the attributes is all counterfeit, so it does not circulate among us, and the merchandise of the one who likens Allah to creation is stagnant and does not sell in our market.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "The seventh simile: The currency of the one who denies the attributes is all counterfeit, so it does not circulate among us, and the merchandise of the one who likens Allah to creation is stagnant"

The Shaykh : of the one who likens Allah to creation
The reader: "and the merchandise of the one who likens Allah to creation is stagnant and does not sell in our market, and the trade of the one who affirms the oneness of Allah is called out for on the Day of Display before the eyes of the witnesses
This is our merchandise returned to us هذه بضاعتنا ردت إلينا
[Yusuf 12:65]
"
.

The Shaykh : Counterfeit means adulterated, and zayf is a defect, so the meaning is that the one who denies the attributes has currency, but it is all defective. And this... what does stagnant mean? It means cheap, worth nothing. As for the second one, the one who affirms the oneness of Allah, everyone desires it, and when he obtains it, he says:
This is our merchandise returned to us هذه بضاعتنا ردت إلينا
[Yusuf 12:65]
.
