The ruling on one who does not know the address of his creditor

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: A few years ago, I borrowed 100 Saudi riyals from several colleagues. Afterwards, I traveled to another region, and I forgot these colleagues, and they forgot me as well. Now, I do not know where they are. What should I do with the amount that is my responsibility? Please inform me, may Allah reward you with good.

Answer: If the situation is as you described in the question, which is that you have forgotten the owners of the hundred, then it is prescribed for you to give charity on their behalf. Whenever you remember one of them, give him his right, unless he permits the charity you performed on his behalf. By doing so, your obligation is cleared, and you and they will receive the reward.
