Renting out the shop to the seller of singing tapes

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: Is it permissible for a man to rent his shop to a seller of singing tapes and musical instruments?

Answer: It is not permissible to rent out the shop to one who uses it to sell what Allah has forbidden; such as musical instruments, intoxicants, tobacco, or the like; because that is assisting them in what Allah has forbidden. And He, the Exalted, said:
but do not cooperate in sin and aggressionوَلاَ تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ
[Al-Ma'idah: 2], and it is authentic from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him):
That he cursed intoxicants, and its drinker, its pourer, its squeezer, its presser, its carrier, the one to whom it is carried, its seller, its buyer, and the one who eats its priceأنه لعن الخمر، وشاربها وساقيها وعاصرها ومعتصرها وحاملها والمحمولة إليه، وبائعها ومشتريها وآكل ثمنها
.
And that is only because the one who pours it, the one who squeezes it, the one who presses it, the one who carries it, and the one who sells it, all of them are assisting in sin and transgression.
