Ruling on Prioritizing the Funerals of Men over the Funerals of Women

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
It happens in some prayer halls during funerals that when there is a group of funerals for women and men, the men are prioritized, and it is strongly criticized if the woman is prioritized. Is there a basis for this criticism?

Answer:
The Sunnah is to prioritize the men. This is the Sunnah: the men are brought forward to the imam, then the women after them, with the center of the woman aligned with the head of the man so that he prays over them all. If there is one man and one woman: the man is brought forward to the imam, then the woman behind him, with her center aligned with the head of the man. If there are children, the male child comes after the male adult, then the female child, then the female adult.
