How to arrange the deceased when praying over them

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He said: "And the older is brought forward, then the younger," meaning when praying over the deceased. So, is the more virtuous placed toward the qiblah, and the less virtuous toward the imam, meaning the other way around?

Answer:
The well-known view is that men are brought forward, then women, in the prayer over the deceased. Men are brought forward, then boys, then women in the funeral prayer. This is how the texts came: men are brought forward first, then women are from the direction of the qiblah, and the more virtuous are the men toward the imam, then the boys toward the imam, and behind them from the direction of the qiblah are the women. This is what is prescribed. And so it is with the rows: the first row is for men, then boys, then women behind them.

Question: O Shaykh, may Allah bless you, we did not understand this speech. If there are men and women, how do we arrange them?

Answer: The deceased: first, the man is near the imam, close to him, then next to him in the row is the boy, then the woman from the direction of the qiblah.
