The Book of Jihad, Expeditions, and Authority-01a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, and Ibn Abi 'Adi narrated to us from Ibn 'Awn with this chain of narration, similarly. And he said: Juwayriyyah bint al-Harith, and there was no doubt.

The Shaykh : And this is the correct view without doubt. It is obligatory for the imam to call [them to Islam] first, and then to fight. But if the call has already reached the people, there is no need to call them again, because if they had wanted Islam, they would have come and embraced it. Thus, calling them would only be a prolongation of the time, so they are attacked without a call.
