And Ishaq ibn Ibrahim, Muhammad ibn Rafi', and 'Abd ibn Humayd narrated it to us

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And Ishaq ibn Ibrahim, Muhammad ibn Rafi', and 'Abd ibn Humayd all narrated it to us from 'Abd al-Razzaq, who said: Ma'mar informed us from al-Zuhri with this chain of narration, similar to it, except that he said: Farwah ibn Nu'amah al-Judhami, and he said:
We were defeated, by the Lord of the Ka'bah, we were defeated, by the Lord of the Ka'bah انْهَزَمُوا وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ، انْهَزَمُوا وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ
Sahih Ibn Hibban 63:196
, and he added in the hadith:
Until Allah defeated them. He said: And it is as if I am looking at the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) galloping after them on his mule
Sahih Ibn Hibban 63:196
.

The Shaykh : This battle, if Allah wills, will come to us in the section on battles, and it will become clear to us, if Allah wills, the reasons for their defeat and their subsequent victory. And the reasons for their defeat were that they boasted of themselves and were proud of themselves, and they said: "We will not be defeated today due to our small numbers." So Allah, Mighty and Majestic, showed them that the matter is His, and that a person does not possess the power to benefit or harm himself except by the will of Allah.
