The reciter: Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Ali ibn Masihr and Waki‘ narrated to us from Zakariya from al-Sha‘bi, who said: Abdullah ibn Muti‘ informed me from his father, who said:
told of hearing God's messenger say on the day of the conquest of Mecca, "No member of Quraish will be killed in custody after this day and on to the day of resurrection." سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ : لَا يُقْتَلُ قُرَشِيٌّ صَبْرًا بَعْدَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
