The Book of Jihad, Expeditions, and Authority-06a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Qari: Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Ya'qub—meaning ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Qari—narrated to us from Abu Hazim that he heard Sahl ibn Sa'd, who was being asked about the wound of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He said:
By Allah, I know who washed the wounds of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and who poured water (for washing them), and with what he was treated.
Sahih al-Bukhari 4075
, then he mentioned a narration similar to that of 'Abd al-'Aziz, except that he added:
And his face was wounded.
, and he said in place of "shattered":
Broken.
.
