The reciter: Muhammad ibn Hatim narrated to me, Bahz narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salama narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us from Anas,
The Shaykh : There is no doubt that they are worthy, may Allah be pleased with them, and that they pledged allegiance to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) for Islam and for jihad as long as they remain, forever, and they fulfilled what they pledged, and praise be to Allah.
That the Companions of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say on the Day of the Trench: "We are those who pledged allegiance to Muhammad *** for Islam as long as we remain, forever," - or he said: "for jihad," Hammad was uncertain - and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: "O Allah, indeed the good is the good of the Hereafter *** so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajirun."
