The Book of Mosques and Places of Prayer-02b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And Muhammad ibn Hatim narrated to me, and Ma'la ibn Mansur narrated to us, and 'Abd al-Warith ibn Sa'id narrated to us, and Kathir ibn Shannazir narrated to us from 'Ata from Jabir, who said:
God’s Messenger sent me on some business بعثني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في حاجة
Mishkat al-Masabih 1346
This is the meaning of the hadith of Hammad.

The Shaykh : So our previous statement regarding the first hadith, the first wording, is to be disregarded, because it has now become clear that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was facing the East, because he was praying on his mount, and you do not have [the right to do so] after he turns away from the prayer, as we understood from the first [statement].
