The reciter: And it was narrated to us by Ishaq ibn Ibrahim, who informed us that Jarir narrated from al-Shaybani, from Abdullah ibn Dhikwan, who is Abu al-Zinad, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi,
That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed a man to oversee the charity, so he came with a large quantity of black [grain] and kept saying, "This is for you, and this was a gift to me."
, and he mentioned something similar to this. Urwah said:
So I said to Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He said, "From his mouth to my ear."
.
