The reciter: Isma'il ibn Ibrahim al-Hanbali narrated to us, Isa ibn Yunus informed us, Al-Awza'i narrated to us from Yazid ibn Yazid ibn Jabir, from Ruzayq ibn Hayyan, from Muslim ibn Qarazah, from Awf ibn Malik, from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: .
The Shaykh : This is in the same sense as the previous hadiths, but his saying:Sahih Muslim 1855a: is a supplication. So "salah" here means supplication, and it is not intended that if you die, you pray for them, and if they die, you pray for them, but rather the intended meaning is supplication.
And in this hadith is evidence that among the leaders, some are of the best and some are of the worst. But as for those who are of the worst, do we rebel against them with the sword? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No.
"The best of your leaders are those whom you love and who love you, and who pray for you and you pray for them, and the worst of your leaders are those whom you hate and who hate you, and who curse you and you curse them." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, should we not rebel against them with the sword?" He said: "No, as long as they establish the prayer among you. And if you see from your rulers something you dislike, dislike their action, but do not withdraw your hand from obedience."
The Shaykh : This is in the same sense as the previous hadiths, but his saying:
who invoke God's blessings upon you and you invoke His blessings upon them
And in this hadith is evidence that among the leaders, some are of the best and some are of the worst. But as for those who are of the worst, do we rebel against them with the sword? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No.
