Do the Asha'irah fall within the methodology of the people of the Sunnah and the community?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : So, do the Asha'irah fall under that? And when it is said "people of the Sunnah and the Rafidah," the Asha'irah are included in that. They intend by "people of the Sunnah" those who acknowledge the Rafidah, excluding the Rafidah from the Islamic sects, up to and including the Asha'irah. However, the correct view is that the Asha'irah, in terms of the methodology of the Salaf, are not from the people of the Sunnah and the community, because their path is contrary to the path of the Salaf. Even though some scholars have said that the people of the Sunnah and the community consist of three sects: the Salafiyyah, the Asha'irah, and the Maturidiyyah. Al-Safarini adopted this view in his commentary on his poem. But this is not correct, and it is actually contradictory to his statement when he mentioned that this Ummah will split into seventy-three sects, saying: "And this text is not a certainty to be considered *** in a sect except for the people of Athar". So this is a near-contradiction between the text and the commentary. But the truth is that the people of the Sunnah and the community apply only to the Salafiyyah of the Athar. As for the Asha'irah and the Maturidiyyah, they are not from the people of the Sunnah and the community in any way, even though they have many matters of the Sunnah in which they agree with the people of the Sunnah and the community.
