What is the meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "The fornicator does not marry except a fornicatress"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The saying of Allah the Exalted:
The fornicator does not marry except a [female] fornicator الزاني لا ينكح إلا زانية
[An-Nur 24:3]
.

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner :
The fornicator does not marry except a [female] fornicator or polytheist الزاني لا ينكح إلا زانية أو مشركة
[An-Nur 24:3]
... Does the chaste woman who marries a fornicator become a fornicatress? If a woman is chaste and marries...

The Shaykh : What do you mean by citing the verse?

The questioner : It is unclear to me.

The Shaykh : What is unclear to you?

The questioner : If a chaste woman marries a fornicator, is she called a fornicatress?

The Shaykh : Do you mean that "marry" (yanikha) means to have sexual intercourse?

The questioner : The meaning.

The Shaykh : Huh?

The questioner : I want the meaning?

The Shaykh : The meaning? The meaning is that Allah says:
The fornicator does not marry except a [female] fornicator or polytheist الزاني لا ينكح إلا زانية أو مشركة
[An-Nur 24:3]
because it is forbidden for a fornicator to marry a chaste woman, do you understand? So if it is forbidden and she marries him, either she is content with the ruling of the Shari'ah, in which case she becomes a fornicatress because she enabled a man for whom it is forbidden to marry her to have intercourse with her, so what does she become? A fornicatress, because the contract is invalid; meaning, the contract of a fornicator with a chaste woman is invalid. So if she enables him to have access to herself, yes, and she knows that the contract is invalid, she becomes what? You? Now we will answer you, may Allah bless you, and you go and... where? Yes, did you understand now? A non-fornicatress, chaste woman, a fornicator contracted marriage with her. Is it permissible to marry a fornicator before repentance? By the saying of Allah the Exalted? No, by His saying:
And that is forbidden to the believers وحُرِّم ذلك على المؤمنين
meaning, it is forbidden for a fornicator to marry a chaste woman, do you understand? So if she marries this fornicator and she believes that the contract is forbidden, and he has intercourse with her, what is the result? Huh?

The questioner : A fornicatress.

The Shaykh : She becomes a fornicatress. But if she says, "No, I do not accept this ruling, and my ruling is that it is permissible," she becomes one who associates partners with Allah, even if... but she is one who associates partners with Allah because she judged by other than the judgment of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). This is the best that has been said regarding the meaning of the verse.
