And if the more distant relative or a stranger marries her off without an excuse, it is not valid

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And if the more distant relative or a stranger marries her off without an excuse, it is not valid" If the more distant relative marries her off while a closer relative is present, without a valid legal excuse, it is not valid. It was said that it is valid, but the one who married her off has acted improperly; however, the marriage is valid. This opinion undoubtedly has a basis, but it is not advisable because it leads to fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) and problems. The closer relative might ruin this woman for her husband because the more distant relative is the one who married her off. The closer relative might not be able to handle this, but he will feel regret. For example, if her uncle marries her off, and her uncle is a prince or a minister or the like, he might not be able to speak to her, but he will have regret in his heart. The important point is that it is not permissible for the more distant relative to marry her off when the closer relative fulfills all the conditions. However, the author states that it is not valid.
