The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said, regarding what he quoted from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him):: This means due to the severity of what befalls him. : Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was afflicted with severe fever and illness. . The wisdom behind this is so that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would attain the highest degrees of patience. Indeed, patience is a high station that is not attained except through trial and testing from Allah (Mighty and Majestic), because there is no patience except over something disliked. If a person is not afflicted with anything he dislikes, how would his patience be known? For this reason, Allah the Exalted said: [Muhammad 47:31]. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would have fevers just as two men among the people would have fevers. Distress began to overwhelm him, and Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) would say: , expressing her pain for him due to his distress, because she is a woman, and a woman cannot bear patience. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan Ibn Majah 1629Sahih (Darussalam), because when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) transitioned from this world, he transitioned to the Highest Companion. As the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say while death was overwhelming him: (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, and she (may Allah be pleased with her) began to lament for him, but it was a light lamentation that did not indicate dissatisfaction with the divine decree and destiny of Allah. So she would say: : "We announce his death": Announcing death (na'i) is informing about the death of the deceased. She said: We announce his death to Jibril, because Jibril was the one who used to bring him the revelation morning and evening. So when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was lost, the descent of Jibril to the earth with the revelation was lost, because the revelation ceased with the death of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). So she said: (Mighty and Majestic), because Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is the One in whose hand is the dominion of all things. The lifespans of creation are in His hand, the management of creation is in His hand, everything is for Allah, to Allah is the ultimate end and to Him is the return. So he responded to the call of Allah: And that is that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, like other believers, his soul is raised until it stands before Allah (Mighty and Majestic), above the seventh heaven. So she said: (peace and blessings be upon him), because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the highest of creation in status in Paradise. As the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: . And there is no doubt that the abode of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Paradise of Firdaus, and the Paradise of Firdaus is the highest degree of Paradise, and its ceiling above it is the Throne of the Lord (Exalted and Majestic is He), above it is the Throne of the Merciful (Glorified and Exalted is He), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is in the highest degree of it. Then when he was carried and buried, she (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Mishkat al-Masabih 5961: This means due to the intensity of her grief for him and her sorrow, and her knowledge that the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) had filled their hearts with love for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). So did their hearts become at peace? And the answer is: Yes, they became at peace, because this is what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) intended, and it is the law of Allah. Even if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) could be ransomed with all the earth, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) would have ransomed him, but Allah the Exalted is the One to whom belongs the judgment and to Him is the return. And as Allah the Exalted said in His Book: [Az-Zumar 39:30-31].
