We request clarification of the meaning of the phrase "I am a Salafi Muslim." What is the meaning of the Salafi methodology?

The Shaykh : What is its meaning?

The questioner : Adhering to what came from the righteous Salaf.

The Shaykh : Ah, good, good. So we believe that everything related to the religion that came to us from the righteous Salaf is on the head and eye, and conversely, everything that did not come to us from the righteous Salaf regarding the religion is rejected.

The questioner : Rejected.

The Shaykh : We reject it decisively.
