Some of the weak ones support one another, and some are denounced and cannot be used as evidence. Therefore, the belief in the emergence of al-Mahdi is a correct belief, in brief. However, this belief contains details that prevent the Muslim from leaning to the right or the left, so that he does not become a follower of everyone who claims to be al-Mahdi, as happened frequently in Islamic history. Among them is his saying (peace be upon him): Sunan Ibn Majah 4085Hasan (Darussalam); therefore, the first condition for al-Mahdi is that he must be from the People of the House (Ahl al-Bayt).
