Indeed, among the signs of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is this rain that descends from the sky. If the people of the earth were to gather to create a single drop of it, they would have no way to do so. But Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), by His power, says to it: "Be, and it is." He sends the winds as bearers of good news before His mercy, stirring up the clouds and spreading them in the sky as He wills, making them pieces piled one upon another like mountains. You see the rain coming out from them. Then, this great cloud that carries the abundant waters, whose weight and measure no one knows except the One who created them (Mighty and Majestic), this cloud produces this severe thunder and this flashing lightning, which occurs by the power of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Some scholars of physics and related fields have said: "A single flash of lightning is equivalent to all the energy that humans produce in the world, and it happens in this moment as you see. Sometimes it is so rapid and continuous that, if it were at night, it would be as if a person were walking in the light of the moon due to the intensity of its succession and continuity." All of this is from the power of Allah (Mighty and Majestic),[Ar-Ra'd 13:12].
