The Form of Takbir on the Days of Tashriq

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the form of takbir on the days of tashriq? Is it restricted to after the prayers, or is it absolute?

Answer:
The takbir on the days of tashriq is both absolute and restricted to the conclusion of the prayers and in all other times. One may say it in pairs or in threes: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillah al-hamd. This is from the narration of Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him), and the hadith of Ibn 'Umar:
There are no days in which Allah is more pleased with good deeds than these ten days, so increase in them the glorification of Allah (tahlil), the declaration of His greatness (takbir), and the praise of Allah (tahmid).
.
And 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) would recite takbir in his tent during the days at Mina until Mina would tremble with the takbir, just as Ibn 'Umar and Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with them both) would go out during the ten days and recite takbir, so the people would recite takbir with their takbir in the markets, teaching the people.
