The reciter: Chapter: The virtue of deeds on the days of Tashreeq.
And Ibn Abbas said:
And remember Allah on days made known: the ten days, and the days that are counted: the days of Tashreeq. واذكروا الله في أيام معلومات : أيام العشر ، والأيام المعدودات : أيام التشريق
.
And Ibn Umar and Abu Hurayrah used to go out to the market on the ten days, saying takbir, and the people would say takbir with their takbir. وكان ابن عمر ، وأبو هريرة يخرجان إلى السوق في أيام العشر يكبران ويكبر الناس بتكبيرهما
.
And Muhammad ibn Ali said takbir after the voluntary prayer.

The Shaykh : Chapter: The virtue of deeds on the days of Tashreeq. The days of Tashreeq are the three days after the Festival of Sacrifice. They are called the days of Tashreeq because people dry meat in them, meaning they spread it in the sun so that it does not spoil. They are the days that are counted, about which the Exalted said:
And remember Allah during [specific] numbered days واذكروا الله في أيام معدودات
[Al-Baqarah 2:203]
.
The athar of Ibn Umar and Abu Hurayrah is that they used to go out to the market on the ten days, saying takbir, and the people would say takbir with their takbir. It is possible that when they said takbir, the people repeated the takbir in a collective voice. It is also possible that the phrase "with their takbir" means "by reason of it," meaning each person says takbir alone. Similarly, what came regarding the festival that menstruating women go out to the prayer ground saying takbir with the takbir of the people: it is possible that the preposition "with" indicates causality, and it is possible that it indicates accompaniment. If it indicates causality, the meaning is that when they heard the takbir, they said takbir, and each person says takbir alone. If it indicates accompaniment, the meaning is that they say takbir collectively.
And his statement: "Muhammad ibn Ali said takbir after the voluntary prayer," its apparent meaning is also that he said takbir from the moment he finished the prayer. This is what is known among scholars as restricted takbir. However, they, meaning the jurists (may Allah have mercy on them), restricted that to the ends of the obligatory prayers when performed in congregation. They say takbir after the obligatory prayer and call this restricted takbir. Its beginning for one who is not in ihram is from the Fajr prayer of the Day of Arafah, and its end is the last prayer on the days of Tashreeq. For one who is in ihram, it is from the Zuhr prayer of the Day of Sacrifice, because the one in ihram before that is occupied with the talbiyah. But based on this reasoning, we say that the one who is not in ihram is occupied with the takbir, tasbih, and tahmid that is done after every prayer. Therefore, we say that it is not a condition of restricted takbir that a person says takbir from the moment he finishes the prayer. Rather, when he finishes, he seeks forgiveness three times and says: "O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Owner of Majesty and Honor." Then after that, if he wishes, he says takbir, and if he wishes, he recites the known tasbih.
