The Takbir on the Days of Tashriq

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 6043 )
Q1: Allah the Exalted commanded His remembrance absolutely on the Days of Tashriq. What is the evidence for this, what is its form, and how many times is it performed?
A1: Allah the Exalted commanded His remembrance absolutely on the Days of Tashriq, and He said:
And remember Allah during [specific] numbered daysوَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْدُودَاتٍ
[Al-Baqarah 2:203]
It is not established in the Qur'an or the Prophetic Sunnah that a specific number or a description of the manner is prescribed for the takbir after the five daily prayers on the Days of Tashriq. The most authentic report regarding the form of the takbir on these days is what 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated with a sound chain from Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
"Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, the Great." It was also said: he says the takbir twice, followed by: "There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise." This was reported from 'Umar and Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them both). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
