Placing the Mushaf in a car or elsewhere for the purpose of seeking blessing

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some people hang verses from the Qur'an and Prophetic hadiths in the rooms of their homes, or in restaurants or offices, and also in hospitals and clinics. They hang the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And when I am ill, it is He who cures meوَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ
[Surat al-Shu'ara: 80], and others. Does hanging these things count as amulets, which are prohibited by the Shari'ah? Their intention is to invoke blessings and drive away devils. They may also intend to remind the forgetful and alert the heedless. Is placing the Mushaf in a car on the pretext of seeking blessing from it also considered an amulet?

Answer:
If the intention behind what the questioner mentioned is to remind people and teach them what benefits them, then there is no harm in that. However, if the intention is to consider them a protection against devils or jinn, I do not know of any basis for this. The same applies to placing the Mushaf in a car for the purpose of seeking blessing from it; it has no basis and is not prescribed. But if he places it in the car to read from it sometimes, or for some of the passengers to read from it, then that is good and there is nothing wrong with it. And success is from Allah.
