The actions of the limbs are part of the perfection of faith

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Are the actions of the limbs considered a perfection of faith, or are they considered a validity of faith?

Answer:
Among the actions of the limbs, some are a perfection of faith, and some, if left, are contrary to faith. The correct view is that fasting completes faith, charity is part of the perfection of faith, and leaving it is a deficiency in faith, a weakness in faith, and a sin.
As for prayer, the correct view is that leaving it is major shirk (associating partners with Allah), may Allah protect us from it. Likewise, for a person to perform righteous deeds, this is part of the perfection of faith. And for him to increase in prayer, voluntary fasting, and charity, this is part of the perfection of faith, by which his faith is strengthened.
