Call upon Allah with knowledge and do not pay attention to those who discourage you

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I am a man who engages in da'wah (calling others to Islam) and guidance, enjoining good and forbidding evil, and pointing out wrongdoings to people. However, there are those who oppose me, saying: "You are interfering in what does not concern you," and "You are stirring up fitnah (trial, discord or temptation)." What is the ruling in this matter?

Answer:
If you have knowledge and you call upon Allah with insight, then do not pay attention to those who have discouraged you. Call upon Allah, teach the people, enjoin good and forbid evil, with forbearance, patience, and seeking reward from Allah, and with kind speech, as Allah the Exalted said:
The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrongوَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
[Surat al-Tawbah: 71], and He the Exalted said:
You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrongكُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
[Surat Ali 'Imran: 110], and He the Exalted said:
And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims."وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
[Surat Fussilat: 33], and He the Exalted said:
Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is bestادْعُ إِلَى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُمْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ
[Surat al-Nahl: 125].
So continue with that as long as you have knowledge, and remain steadfast upon it, and do not pay attention to those who have discouraged you. But you must employ wisdom, you must follow what Allah and His Messenger said and apply it in its proper places, with forbearance, patience, and not rushing in matters, and you must be gentle and speak kindly.
