Books Explaining the Meanings of Hadiths

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I ask you to give me the names of books that explain the meanings of the Prophetic hadiths. Also, is it permissible to abbreviate the sending of blessings upon Muhammad by using the symbol (ص)? Please inform me.

Answer:
Among the beneficial books explaining the Prophetic hadiths are: Fath al-Bari by al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar, which explains Sahih al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on both of them); al-Nawawi’s explanation of Sahih al-Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on both of them); 'Awn al-Ma'bud for Sunan Abu Dawud; Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi for Jami' al-Tirmidhi; Nail al-Awtar in explaining al-Muntaqa by al-Shawkani; and Subul al-Salam in explaining Bulugh al-Maram by al-Amir: Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-San'ani.
It is not permissible to suffice with (ص) or (صلعم) to refer to the sending of blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Rather, it is prescribed to state it explicitly by saying: (peace and blessings be upon him). And success is from Allah.
