The Ruling on the Rawatib of 'Isha' Before the Tarawih Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The brother M. S. H. from al-Dawasi' says in his question: I have noticed that after the completion of the 'Isha' prayer in the blessed month of Ramadan, and after the tasbih and tahlil, the congregation stand up, each one individually, to perform the sunnah. May Allah grant you well-being, O my father, is the Tarawih prayer not sufficient for these two rak'ahs? We ask you to kindly provide the ruling.

Answer:
The rawatib of 'Isha' is a confirmed sunnah, and it consists of two rak'ahs. It is the sunnah to pray it before the Tarawih prayer, because it is an independent sunnah, and Tarawih is an independent sunnah. May Allah guide all Muslims to understand the religion.
