Ruling on entering the prayer with the imam in tarawih with the intention of 'Isha'

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner: In the time of Ramadan, I found the imam had finished the 'Isha' prayer and was in the first rak'ah of tarawih. If that is the case, should I pray the two rak'ahs of tarawih with him, and after the imam says the taslim, I stand up and perform two rak'ahs and say the taslim, considering it my 'Isha' prayer? Or how should I act? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
There is no blame on him if a Muslim comes to the mosque and the people have already prayed the 'Isha' prayer in Ramadan and have begun tarawih, and he enters with them intending to pray 'Isha', and then he completes his prayer after the imam says the taslim; there is nothing wrong with that, and praise be to Allah. He is to be hoped for the reward of the congregation, and this is the best. If he prays alone, that suffices him, but the best is that he prays with them so that he obtains the congregation with the intention of 'Isha'. When the imam says the taslim, he stands up and completes his prayer, and praise be to Allah. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
